I haven't reached my goal but when I look back I realize how much I have accomplished. Freshman year I couldn't run one lap around the field for baseball try-outs. I felt as if i would nearly pass out, since then I have been able to ten miles. One of my biggest accomplishments. I have lost over 50 lbs in body fat and gained over twenty in muscle. This allowed me to join the Marine Corps my one true dream.
Since I have never stopped working to further my goals, to hone in on what I view today as impossible but tomorrow a reality. Your work is never done, there is always room for improvement, that is what I plan to do, constantly work to improve. I am the strongest I have ever been physically and mentally and I plan on only getting stronger. Someone is always on your heels to take your place as number one, to replace you. You must have that competitive edge to always seek self improvement to make sure you stay number one. |
